Doctoral student will attend first annual North American Pain School

First-year doctoral student Valerie Hruschak was accepted by the International Association Study of Pain (IASP) for the first annual North American Pain School (NAPS) that will occur this summer in Montreal.  NAPS will be bringing together some of the leading experts in the field of pain research and management to provide 30 trainees for an intensive four day workshop. The agenda is packed with well recognized pain investigators from around the world. "It will be an excellent opportunity to network, represent the social work profession in pain, and be exposed to novel and upcoming research and training specifically tailored to trainees" says Hruschak.
