Dr. Hide Yamatani has been named the Director of Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance in the newly created Office of Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance. Yamatani was previously Associate Dean for Research. Major responsibilities of this new office include leading efforts related to the School's deficit, asset and momentum maintenance management, and optimization of learning outcomes and benefit-equity among various student groups, such as: regional/main campus, full- and part-time, age, gender, racial/ethnic groups.
