A Bridges magazine article on African Americans and police relations was honored as a winner at the 29th annual Pittsburgh Black Media Federation’s Robert L. Vann awards. The article, “Broken: Race and Police Relations,” from the Bridges magazine Fall 2016 issue won in the Magazine-Public Affairs category.  Author LaMont Jones Jr. was on hand to accept the award.
