BASW student, and BASW Club President, Saskia Berrios-Thomas is the 2016 receipt of the Iris Marion Young Award for Political Engagement. This award, through Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies (GSWS) program, recognizes student leadership in the struggle to achieve social justice. Saskia is participating in the SSW Child Welfare Education program and is also an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant through the University Honors College.
