Pitt’s United Way Day of Caring will occur on Friday September 16, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This year, we will be going to People’s Oakland, an agency that has a long history in the community and with the School of Social Work. Given the volume of volunteers, Sojourner House opportunity is no longer available. We will route registration for this even through me  instead of Pitt’s United Way Day of Caring  website.  This project entails cleaning, painting, organizing, and power washing.  Please wear comfortable clothing that may get dirty or encounter paint. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the site.  Please let me know, as soon as possible,  if you  are able to attend and share the following information with me.
