Do The Write Thing Mar 29, 2016, 9:00 pm

Assistant Professor Jaime Booth was asked by Judge Dwayne Woodruff and his wife to organize social work students to read and judge Junior High Students essays/poems about their experiences with violence, and what they will do about it in the future, as part of the national Do the Write Thing program.

The School of Social Work has been given 800 essays written by Pittsburgh Public School students. The winners of the essay contest will go to DC to be honored and compete with students from around the country.

In partnership with the BASW Club, social work students will get together and read essays Tuesday, March 29th at 9pm in the School of Social Work Student Lounge, 22nd floor, Cathedral of Learning.

Food will be provided and all are welcome!
