"My BASW degree helped me become an advocate at the grassroots level for the preservation of public transportation and the regulation of fares. I was prepared through my BASW to work in conjunction with constituents and community organizations at every level as we came together to march, rally, and testify to hold local and state officials accountable to the needs of all society.
